County Commission Public Hearing - ORD 19-05 Conditional Use of a Liquid and Propane Storage Yard

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

BEFORE LAWRENCE COUNTY COMMISSION


ORDINANCE AMENDMENT # 19-05


    AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAWRENCE COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE, AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS THERETO.


The following sections of each chapter and article be amended:


(Summary: To add an allowed Conditional Use of a Liquid and Propane Storage Yard to Chapter 6-District Regulations the following zoning districts and add a Definition to II -3.001:


II - 3.001 DEFINITIONS


LIQUID AND BULK PROPANE STORAGE YARD. A storage yard that holds tanks which store a material which is composed predominantly of the following hydrocarbons or mixtures of them: propane, propylene, butane (normal butane or isobutane) and butylenes.

II - 6.008: HSC-Highway Service Commercial

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said amendment will be heard by the Lawrence County Commission in the County Commission Room, 90 Sherman Street, Deadwood, South Dakota on the 21st day of January 2020 at 9:30 am, to hear and consider such amendment.  


Any person interested in the approval or rejection of such ordinance may appear and be heard or file with the Lawrence County Planning and Zoning Administrator a written statement of approval or disapproval.
