The Work Release Program is handled through the Work Release Electronic Monitoring (WREM) Program. WREM bracelets are a GPS tracking system with real time data to monitor the inmate’s whereabouts.This program has its own requirements and each individual may or may not qualify for this program.
This program is specifically offered to individuals who qualify, to be able to maintain their employment while also completing their sentencing requirements. WREM is only authorized by a Judge during sentencing.
Inmates will be required to report each week on Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Inmates will be required to report to have the bracelet checked, make payment and provide a work schedule for the upcoming week.
Inmates will be required to pay at least one week in advance for their work release fees and will also need to provide a work schedule for the upcoming week. WREM fees are $15 a day. To enroll in the program, a fee of $115 is immediately assessed. This includes $105 for the first week and $10 for a urinalysis test that is required for enrollment. Random testing for urinalysis and / or PBT will occur with subjects on the program to which each individual will be required to pay for each test. Urinalysis tests are $10.00 and PBTs are $1.00 a test.
